ARTICLE 1 – OBJECTIVES
The Competition is open to all Italian and foreign professionals (companies, performers, dancers, directors, choreographers, videomakers) who during the lockdown period, have created dance videos as evidence of this particular historical moment.
The Competition would promote and support those who, despite the current difficulties, have used audiovisual language by offering further visibility and promotion to dance.
ARTICLE 2 - ARTISTIC COMMITTEE AND JURY
The Artistic Committee is composed by: Marco Laudani choreographer and teacher, Monica Ratti dance critic and Danzasì collaborator, Valentina Marini dance shows producer and curator, Vittoria Cappelli cultural worker. The committee will follow all the Competition’s phases. The Final Jury will be appointed by Bologna Welcome in liaison with the Artistic Committee.
ARTICLE 3 - CATEGORY AND DURATION
Two categories are foreseen :
Category Solo: maximum video length is of 6 min.
Category Groups (Duos are considered a group): maximum video length is of 8 min.
Longer videos will be deleted automatically.
ARTICLE 4 - REGISTRATION
Registration is free.
Professionals such as Dancers, Performers, Choreographers, Directors, Videomakers can register to the Competition. Video makers can also use non-professional interpreters with no age limit.
Dance is the principal artistic form that must be primarily used.

The platform will not complete the operation in absence of one or more required information items.
Participation to the Competition is subject to the transfer of rights to Bologna
Welcome, Destinazione Turistica and the Municipality of Bologna, for the use of the submitted material for the destinations promotional and marketing campaigns, and the assumption of the obligation to transfer the commercial exploitation rights of the video, in the event of winning one of the two awards provided by the Competition.
ARTICLE 5 - VIDEO FEATURES
Two videos must be made (with a minimum quality of 720p), one of which in full version of the duration referred to in article 3, and the other will be its promo or short frame that will not exceed 40 seconds.
ARTICLE 6 - COMPETITION PHASES
- PRE-SELECTION PHASE: all submitted videos will be viewed by the ARTISTIC COMMITTEE
- FINAL PHASE: only the videos pre-selected by the ARTISTIC COMMITTEE will enter the final phase and the winners will be decreed among these.
ARTICLE 7 - ACCESS to the FINALE
The videos will be viewed by the ARTISTIC COMMITTEE of the Competition which will select a minimum of 10 videos within the SOLO and the GROUPS category.
A second JURY will be appointed by the Artistic Committee and Bologna Welcome, made up of professionals from the dance world, entrepreneurs and cultural operators from the Bolognese territory, will decree the winners.
ARTICLE 8 - EVALUATION CRITERIA
The ARTISTIC Committee and the FINALE JURY will observe the following evaluation criteria in selecting and judging the awards:
- VIDEO EDITING
- EXPRESSIVE COHERENCE
All the criteria equally contribute to the constitution of an evaluation for both the selections and for the final awarding phase.
ARTICLE 9 - AWARDS
The Jury, at its sole discretion, assigns the following official awards to the first classified in each category:
× SOLO Category : € 500,00
× GROUPS Category : € 1.250,00
Prize amounts include 20% withheld tax (pursuant to art. 30 of Presidential Decree 600/1973). The awards will be paid by Bologna Welcome against the actual transfer of the commercial exploitation rights of the videos.
ARTICLE 10 - COMPETITION DEADLINE
The material must be sent by 12.00 hrs on 10th of March 2021 (Italy GMT + 1 time zone).
ARTICLE 11 - APPLICATIONS REGISTRATION RECEIPT
The organization does not take into account applications without the complete documentation referred to in Article 4 of this Regulation, nor those that appear to have been sent after the deadlines indicated in Article 10. The candidate will be notified of receipt of the registration.
ARTICLE 12 - PERMITS, RELEASES
The candidate declares the veracity of each act and/or its legal and professional declaration and assumes all civil and criminal liability.
The candidate verifies to possess all the necessary rights connected to each item of the registration application.
Candidates will be available for interviews or other initiatives of informative, promotional and/or documentary nature without charges.
Participation in the Competition is subject to the transfer of the rights to
Bologna Welcome, Destinazione Turistica and the Municipality of Bologna, for the use of the material sent, within the destinations promotional marketing campaigns.

The candidates undertake, in case of award, to transfer the commercial exploitation rights of the video.
ARTICLE 13 – INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The organization undertakes to process the data of each participant in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and in compliance
with the EU General Regulation for the protection of personal data n. 2016/679 and subsequent amendments.
Pursuant to art. 13 of the General Regulation on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation 2016/679), candidates are informed that the processing of personal data provided by them when participating in the selection or otherwise acquired for this purpose by the Associazione Avvertenze Generali, is aimed solely at carrying out the selection procedure and will be carried out exclusively by the persons in charge for this purpose, with the use of procedures which may be computerized, in the ways and within the limits necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes, even in the event of any communication to third parties.
The provision of such data is also necessary for purposes related to the
performance of institutional activities, in particular for all the obligations connected with the full implementation of the various stages of the Competition covered by these Regulations and for the activities referred to in art. 12 of this competition notice.
Associazione Avvertenze Generali informs that this treatment will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of the privacy and rights of the participants in the Competition.
The information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), referred to in Annex A to this regulation.
ARTICLE 14 - ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF THE REGULATION
The presentation of the application for admission to the Competition, constitutes full acceptance of all the rules and regulations of this Competition and therefore the obligation to fulfill all its provisions.
ARTICLE 15 - IRREVOCABILITY OF DISPUTES AND CONTROVERSIES
The provisions and judgments of the organizational staff and the Artistic Committee, and decisions of the Jury are final.
